Spring Break

The one week break is here. Can't really say i deserve it though. Been quite busy this past week, with assignments that i should have started a little earlier...

Attended and took part in some Verge Art Festival performances last week. Some of the performances were really good and definitely more than qualified to take part in the Idol competitions. There were songs, instrumental pieces, hip hop and street dance. All of them wowed the crowd and i must say that i was more than impressed.

But anyone would be less than impressed at my feeble attempt to sing a Jay Chou song on stage. Luckily it was a day performance and there was hardly anyone there to watch. The lyrics just went missing from my head after the first verse, and i could only stand smiling sheepishly through most of the song. Nice shots were taken by Uncle Boon but he could barely burst out laughing at my sorry plight. Didn't matter much to me anyway. Hats off to those who could really sing.

Thursday is shopping night, but i was quite tired from working on those assignments so I headed back early for some rest. I'll make my way to ACC another night.
